Rubbish Resources and Residues – British Academy
Rubbish, Resources and Residue (RRR) was a project managed by LSE Cities and funded by the British Academy, UK. The research examined historical changes to SWM over a twenty-five year period in cities of Pakistan and Ethiopia. This was a revisit for Mansoor’s PhD, one of the lead researchers on the project. The research looked into the opportunities and limitations of Integrated Solid Waste Management (ISWM) in cities of developing countries. Mansoor helped with the development of the research, managing research partners in Pakistan, fieldwork methodology and analysis of findings.
